Farah Mamedov, MD, F.A.A.P., has been with Steeplechase Pediatric Center since 2005. She completed her medical studies at the Azerbaijan State Medical University, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Mamedov obtained her pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine. After completion of her residency in 2004, she was a Fellow at the Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine Department at Baylor College of Medicine until joining Steeplechase Pediatrics. She is board certified in pediatrics, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a member of Harris County Medical Society and American Medical Association. Dr. Mamedov is married, has 2 daughters, Aliya and Aileen, and lives in the Houston area. Dr. Mamedov loves traveling and exploring new cultures and cuisines. She also enjoys spending time outdoors with her kids. Dr. Mamedov speaks Azerbaijani and Russian. At this time she sees patients at our NCMC, Cypress – Skinner and Cypress – Springs locations.
