Jane Stones, M.D., F.A.A.P.

Jane Stones, M.D., F.A.A.P. was born in Louisiana, and raised in the Houston area. After graduating from Texas A&M in College Station with a B.S. in Wildlife and Fisheries Science, she started her career as a teacher in Spring Branch ISD and Cy-Fair ISD teaching mainly high school chemistry for 15 years. During this time, she earned 2 M.Ed degrees in Curriculum and Instruction – Science Education and Educational Leadership and Cultural Studies. At this point, Dr. Stones decided to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a doctor. She graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 2012 and completed her residency in pediatrics at the same location in 2015. She is board certified in pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She has previously worked in the urgent care setting. Dr. Stones is married and has 2 children, Abigail and Spencer, 2 dogs, Molly and Stuart and a blue-tongued skink – Bruny. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, traveling, birding, and relaxing with her family. Dr. Stones is proficient in medical Spanish. At this time, she sees patients at our NCMCand Cypress – Skinner locations.
